Responsibilities: Design projects, or components of larger projects, from start to finish, including concept development, preliminary design, structural analysis, calculations and drawings; Projects could include, but are not limited to, the following: Design of procedures and equipment for erection of bridges, buildings and unique structures; Structural analysis of permanent structures during construction to evaluate stability for temporary conditions and to achieve desired forces and geometry in completed condition; Design of temporary structures such as bridges, construction access trestles, fixed and movable construction access platforms; Design of temporary support systems and load transfer operations; Design of heavy lifting and rigging operations; Design of heavy structure moves and equipment using jacking, sliding, rolling, gantries, and other equipment.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related fields; 1 year of work experience as Civil Engineer, Structural Engineer, or in a related position; Proficiency in AutoCAD.
