Assembly Yard Trestles

Zieman engineering designed two trestles to support the rails and winch system for the girder carts that were
part of the girder unit assembly line. These trestles were used to load out 134 girder assemblies weighing
up to 2,400 kips on to barges. Zieman Engineering also designed two trestles to be configured as a barge slip
that was used to unload girder components using a 150 ton capacity straddlecrane.
