Crane Access Trestles
Project: Q Bridge/Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge, New Haven, CT
Client: Cianbro/Middlesex, JV

Zieman Engineering designed two construction access trestles through New Haven Harbor. The trestles were designed to allow use of equipment to
construct a new extradosed bridge to carry I-95. The trestles were designed for Manitowoc 2,250 cranes as well as various
equipment required for the construction of drilled shafts. The trestles were 30 - 40 foot wide with a total length of approximately 1,500 foot.
